Gluten Free Hot Dog Bun Recipe
Bun Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup amaranth flour
- 1/4 cup potato starch
- 1/4 cup tapioca starch
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 2 tablespoons flax seed meal
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/4 teaspoons xanthan gum
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup soy milk
Bun Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Mix together the dry ingredients.
- Mix together the wet ingredients.
- Combine the wet with dry.
- Grease a cookie sheet, then shape dough into hot dog bun shapes if it’s sticky, wet a spatula and your hands a bit to form them.
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes, until they start to brown.








Very good! I’ll need to work on perfecting the hot dog shape but I was surprised by how soft and fluffy they were. I may just use this recipe for regular buns too

Try making folded aluminum foil in rectangle shape and spray with pam. Put dough in it, When it rises take foil off and bake it. That should help.
